It started with an ambitious vision: to rid the world of plastic bottles and PET waste and make clean drinking water accessible to everyone. Florent, a trained sanitary engineer with a passion for clean water, had already worked in several developing countries and recognized the potential for sustainable solutions. But how was he to turn this idea into reality? How do you set up a company to tackle this global challenge? He turned to Bureau54 with these questions.
Bureau54 offers a unique start-up program that works in two parts: one part is provided in the form of capital, the other as an equity stake in the company. This approach enables young companies to make the best use of their capital to develop their business models without having to spend money from the outset. Bureau54's founders have also benefited from a similar program in the past, which motivates them to offer the same opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs today. Learn more about our program.
The collaboration was very harmonious right from the start. Florent's enthusiasm and clear mission immediately impressed the Bureau54 team. Together, they set out to make the vision of clean water for all a reality.

The first major achievement of this collaboration was the founding of driink.me. The name was deliberately chosen to combine the feeling of a modern lifestyle with an important technical benefit. "Driink" - the double "i" sound conveys freshness and a certain coolness factor, which is particularly well received in international markets. At the same time, the technical expertise remains recognizable in the background: the brand not only stands for lifestyle, but also for a technological solution that actually provides clean drinking water.
driink.me offers drinking water purification systems that are capable of filtering over 5,000 liters of water per hour. The company has decided to use Bali as a test market - a perfect place to try out sustainable solutions. Bali, an island heavily dependent on tourism, struggles with the challenges of plastic waste and a patchy water supply. Here, driink.me can not only reduce plastic consumption with its systems, but also offer the local population and tourists a sustainable alternative.
The partnership between Florent and Bureau54 developed into an exciting journey. What began as a vision became a successful start-up that perfectly combines both technical solutions and lifestyle aspects. Bureau54 acted not only as a sparring partner, but also as a coach. Florent was able to rely on the team's expertise and experience to implement his vision step by step.
The project in Bali is just the beginning. It shows how a start-up can be built from the ground up by having the right partners at your side. The drinking water treatment plants from driink.me are a real game-changer product - not only for Bali, but potentially for many other regions around the world that face similar challenges in the area of water supply and waste prevention.
Good luck in Bali - and we look forward to the next update when driink.me reaches the next level!
