Initial situation
spiess + kühne is an established specialist store for medical supplies. Specializing in orthopaedic and rehabilitation technology, spiess + kühne stands for expertise, dedication and personal advice. The renovation of the store at the headquarters in St. Gallen in 2024 provided the perfect opportunity not only to modernize the premises, but also to update the brand image in line with the times.
As part of this change process, Bureau54 was commissioned to implement a comprehensive rebranding that reflects the company's values and visually and communicatively reinforces the guiding principle "Together for a better quality of life". In addition, we took over the design and coordination of the interior and exterior signage as well as the organization of a professional photo shoot with photographer Bodo Rüedi to create an authentic and consistent visual world for the new appearance.

Result
The rebranding gave spiess + kühne a modern, trustworthy brand image that strengthens its positioning as a personal medical supply retailer. The redesign of the store in St. Gallen with optimized interior and exterior signage improves orientation and increases recognition value.
The photo shoot we organized with Bodo Rüedi creates an authentic visual world that underlines the personal service and is reflected in the website, print and social media. In addition, the corporate design was revised, from letterheads to vehicle lettering, and ensures a uniform, professional appearance.
