When trade fairs no longer take place, machine engineers become sausage makers and excavator shovels serve as barbecues.
One challenge for Hutter Baumaschinen AG in the Corona year was that the trade fairs, an enormously important exchange in your industry, were not allowed to take place. However, in order to be able to maintain "trade fair contact" with customers this year, we were asked by Bureau54 to develop an idea on how to make customers happy even in these difficult times.
With the Hutter sausage campaign, we have succeeded in bringing Hutter Baumaschinen AG to customers in a friendly and very personal way.

Working with a client who is up for anything and who trusts us as an agency naturally made us very enthusiastic. Together with the client, we were able to develop and implement a concept in which the two managing directors of Hutter spent a day sausaging in a butcher's shop for all their customers. Using an excavator shovel converted into a barbecue, all Hutter employees enjoyed a barbecue on the same day. Everything was photographed to create a magazine with the story for the mailing.
A short time later, the entire mailing was put together for distribution. The packaged, specially labeled "Hutter sausages" came together with branded barbecue tongs, matching matches and the magazine with the whole story, in a cardboard box specially made for this campaign and were delivered by the sales force to their customers throughout Switzerland. Many photos of customers at the small-scale employee barbecue reached Hutter-Baumaschinen AG over the next few days and weeks. The campaign was a great success and HUTTER's customers were both surprised and delighted by the idea!
