Initial situation
The BWZ Rapperswil-Jona wanted to develop a modern and uniform brand identity that presents the school in a fresh, young and target group-oriented way. The focus is on the basic education students, who should be addressed with a clear message. A complete package was required: naming, logo/figurative mark, branding, brand development, a strong campaign as well as signage and lettering.

Result
With the claim "Focus", a concise central idea was created that acts as a common thread through all measures. The naming provided the direction, while the logo and branding with fresh colors in light blue and green ensure a youthful and clear appearance. Imagery that places learners at the center reinforces this effect. The brand development was complemented by a modern website with a clear structure, simple navigation and modern technology. The centerpiece was the "Focus" campaign, which conveys the central idea emotionally and directly and puts the apprentices visibly in the spotlight. The website was rounded off with consistent signage and lettering that brings the new branding to life and ensures orientation and recognition.
Insights
The biggest challenge was to appeal to different target groups at the same time and to maintain a balance between seriousness and youthful freshness. The clear claim helped to bundle all measures and give the brand direction. The holistic approach, from the campaign to the lettering, made the appearance consistent and authentic. The result was a strong brand identity that creates recognition and puts the focus on the learners.
